First Kites is dedicated to the somewhat uncommon kites designed and patented in between the year's 1898 and 1949. Uncommon means here: not used very often or not working very good or even not flying very well.

Most of these kites on this website are patented.

They are all build by the signatory.  And the only reason that these kites are build is that they should be build, seen en discussed once.
