means (e.g. a bobbin 13) for coarse adjustment. The kite may have a
ring 14 to which a tail may be attached."

"The
third string 12 caries bobbin 13 which by adding or subtracting
turns enables coarse adjustment of the effective lenght of the
thrird string 12."

The
kite could not fly without a tail, so we attached the Skyro-Gyro
Spinning Kite Tail
(US 2768473), which was not enough for this kite. Ring 14 was
missing on our kite.
